•  What is our experience?

A.   We have ten years experience in hobby and art photography/videography, and have apprenticed with a professional broadcast and event videographer whom himself has fifteen plus years experience. Our staff has studied photography, electronics, and computer sciences at Coosa Valley Technical College and North Georgia Technical Institute.

•  What is our videography/photography shooting style?

A.   JDM Studios videographers prefer to shoot candid footage during the events as opposed to staged scenes. We strive to catch participants acting naturally, enjoying the event as if we were not even there, and strongly encourage them to do so. Our videographers may ask however, that participants, if possible, re-create certain things, in the interest of a better finished product.

•  What kind of equipment do you use?

A.   JDM Studios uses prosumer quality three CCD Digital video equipment, . We use a variety of cordless microphone equipment to capture sound, we also have the ability to plug directly into the venues sound system there by transferring sound from the sound board to our tapes. We also, as the situation dictates, use a variety of professional lighting and mounting equipment. Our still camera is also a professional digital unit.

•  What equipment and people will be at your event?

A.   JDM Studios will provide two manned cameras, one stationary camera and one mobile camera to capture candid footage from a variety of angles, at the ceremony and reception. We will have no less than two people at the event, at most events we will have four staff members to insure all technical aspects are covered on our side.

Our staff strives to be as unobtrusive as possible during the event. We request, therefore, that we be allowed to see the venue thirty minutes to an hour before the event so we may layout areas from which to film. We also request any special restrictions be given to us as far in advance as possible, so we can insure that we comply with the facilities rules and regulations.

•  Our editing?

A.   JDM Studios uses state of the art non-linear digital editing equipment. Our editors strive to create a lasting heartfelt memory for our clients, to this end they will request information and insight from participants during the event to help form their vision of the end product. Titles, music, transfers, and effects will be added during the editing process, in an artful fashion based on our editors vision of the event.

•  What is our turn around time?

A.   JDM Studios will provide fully edited finished products in six to eight weeks on average. Smaller packages may require less time to complete, while larger packages with special prints may require more time. ( Note: video editing cannot begin until any additional materials, pictures for montages, special music, etc. has been given to the editors) All additional post-production copies not ordered in original package will require one week.

•  How long are our videos?

A. Our videos will typically run between thirty minutes to an hour depending on the length of the ceremony and reception events. Longer events or videos that will incorporate rehearsals, montages, love stories, etc. can run up to a maximum of two hours.
